So what exactly is breathwork?
Breathwork is exactly what it sounds like: using your breath—intentionally—to affect your mental, emotional, and physical state.
Across cultures and centuries, people have turned to breath practices to reduce stress, process emotions, unlock creativity, or connect more deeply with themselves. Whether it’s box breathing, yogic pranayama, or more expansive modalities, breathwork taps into something simple yet profound: your body’s built-in ability to shift, release, and renew—just by changing how you breathe.
At Homeward, we work with many forms of breath—but the core of our practice is Holotropic Breathwork: a powerful, immersive modality for deep self-exploration and healing.
